An ancient sunken city of the coast of Japan, deep beneath the waves…I think I just found the setting for my next story about Captain Tung, Independent Recovery Contractor.

I snagged a helpful bit of information from Pat Esden on hunting down a good agent, and bagging the contract when you find one. The article is by Ethan Ellenberg, so it gives the inside view from the agent perspective.

The five-year old and I bought 100 daffodill bulbs today and chopped our way past the one thousand and one rocks, through the brick-like clay, and passed the construction debris to put thirty of them in the ground. I seriously pulled out one chunk of concrete the size of a dinner plate.

You’ll forgive me if I feel like a lot of people are dying of late…just my perspective, I’m sure.
Robert Jordan was a wonderful author, with an incredible series populated by fascinating people. My condolences to his wife and family, and my thanks to the folks who put together this nice tribute.

A screen that can move and stretch would take the ‘make it real’ factor up a notch or two. Especially if they combined it with a screen that went all the way around the viewer.
These receptionist robots look like giant Lego guys […]

Yesterday I recieved a heavy box full of my next batch of textbooks. Nine books for the Modern China class, two for World History, and one for Modern US History. I pulled out my school calender and got busy with a highlighter and pen, fitting these classes into the schedule.
Because I’m an Independent Study student, I can take […]
