Okay, see what you think:
For my part, I have to admit the commercial’s funny, and it probably works as a commercial because I’m more likely to notice Mountain Dew (though I still won’t buy it) in the store.
I know some ferret owners are concerned that it gives ferrets a bad rap, but […]
I’m sure I’m not alone in my thirst for enlightenment as to how much money writers really make. You know, not the ones who only write ‘for themselves’, or come out with a book every six years, and not the Rowlings either, but the average writer of reasonable success.
Thanks to Jordan for this info and link […]
As the designated hostess of the internet I am delighted to welcome Pat Esden online. Of course she’s been around for awhile, and no doubt has a long list of online friends, but she’s been delinquent in starting a blog. But now she’s finally relented, so welcome, Patty!
I’ll also just point you to another new link in my blogroll. I […]
Check out this terrific slushpile bonfire. Someday I want to be there, roasting a marshmallow on a very long stick. And if by some twist of bad writing a manuscript of mine is on the pile, I promise to laugh my head off. Let it be purged.

I’ve since finished the first draft, done an intensive critique, and written in all […]
Okay, I have two new goals for myself. First, I want to get myself a Raku Ray Gun.
Second, I want someday to have a Ray Gun named after me or a character of mine.
Adding a couple new links to the blog roll, both guys that I would love to sit down with at a con.
David Langford, author of The End of Harry Potter? and blogger extraordinaire.
And John Scalzi’s blog, Whatever. I’m looking forward to reading Old Man’s War when vacationing this summer.
The only connection between these two, far […]
