I found an article (sorry - the link is eluding me) about the possibility of hot-blooded dinosaurs. While the study didn’t make any firm statements, the jist of it is that some dinosaurs may have used thermal inertia to keep their body temperature up, just as alligators, Komodo dragons, and Galapagos tortoises do today. Today I worked on the next rewrite of my Takers story. I’ve settled on the new ending (well, sort of) and figured out other background details that were messing up the plot. Now if I could just settle on a good title . . .
The passionate red, the silken blonde, the raven black, and . . .
Published by August 16th, 2006 in The Human Condition. 0 CommentsWhat about us brunettes? My dh sent me a link which claims redheads have more sex than women of other hair colors. My hubby’s motive in sending this may have been to tweak me about the time in college when I had red hair (it runs in my family) which looked pretty natural against my […]
I went looking on the net for info on my elbows today, because mine have caught my attention. I took a large-ish patch of skin off of each when practicing my elbow hits on the dummy in the workout room. He looked none the worse for the wear, but I’m whining every other move I make.

Today I couldn’t decide if I should puke or pass out, but I was ready with a grin […]
We visited the Lemur Center at Duke University this past Friday. The primates were fascinating, and the guide was helpful.
What I found funny, though, was that the more I heard of the lengths taken to care for the lemurs, and walked around the extensive forest and enclosures, the more I wanted me very own lemur for […]
Getting started with HTML has a nice guide for those of us that are new to all this.
