		<description>Yeah, we had to see it to believe it.  Once we started looking around online, though, we found it&#039;s a commom problem for chicken keepers.  The solution we&#039;re going with (when we get more chicks in the spring) is raising a turkey or two with them and some guinea fowl, as well.  Apparently those birds have better survival insitincts and will watch out for the bird brained chickens. :)</description>

		<description>We have been, and it&#039;s been wonderful.  Until the local predators of the sky decided they could just sit in our backyard and wait for a chicken to walk by!

I feel sorry for the last lonely one, but at least she&#039;s learned caution and knows to run quick to hide under the deck or in the coop.  She&#039;s also a great egg layer, which some of the others were not, so I suppose there&#039;s that to be grateful for. :)</description>
