Meter for Popcorn and a Handful to Taste

Not much to look at, true, but I did predict that this week’s count would be low. Next week we’re into a regular routine and hopefully I won’t need any more backstory digressions that don’t count toward the novel’s forward momentum. Remind my characters they’re not allowed to go schizo on me, would you?

The first popcorn recipe. This one’s for kettlecorn, and not only is it scrumptious, it’s so easy I made it on a night when my brain had been fighting cold zombies all day.
My only suggestion? Go easy on the salt ’til you taste it. A tiny bit of salt goes a long way when it’s clinging to the caramel coating on the popcorn instead of piling into a salt beach at the bottom of your bowl. Enjoy!
