Introducing Ezekiel
This is a tad belated, as he actually came home Tuesday night, but he wouldn’t sit still long enough to get his picture taken and I couldn’t toss up a post without a pic, now could I?
So, this is Ezekiel, aka Zeke. He’s half Rottie, half German Shepherd, and about to celebrate his one year old birthday. In this picture he’s wondering what the heck I’m doing and why I insist on pointing that silver thing at him. He not only didn’t want to sit still, he also wanted to be right next to me, which was making for some rather distorted pictures.
So far he’s proven the easiest trainable dog I’ve ever come across (his Rottie ancestors may be spinning in their graves) and slipped right into the family routine. Except, of course, where the cats are concerned…but, hey, nobody’s perfect!
He looks like fun – esp liked your snowball story. I’ll have to try that with ours. Have you seen our new addition yet…?

Zeke is fun…even when he slips free at the park and goes galloping through a stream just when I need to pack him in the car…
He’s a good dog.
