Writers have the best jobs.  What other field of work would lead to researching beautiful and fanciful creations like these lovely toilet paper dresses?

This one is a personal favorite.  Maybe someday I’ll dress a character in it.

Lovely details on this toilet paper dress!

My online research into the intricate world of toilet paper art* was prompted by my female pov in Shadow Dance.  I’m not one to tell-tales, but I strongly suspect she’s going toilet-papering and needs to know all the latest tricks of the trade.  Along the way I also came across this amusing anecdote of one such foray.

*I am in no way condoning toilet paper re-decorating as a practical joke or fun activity for youth.  I am aware that it is considered a crime in some states, and may be accompanied by a fine.  You partake in teepeeing at your own risk, as I’m sure my charaters would tell you.

Holy Cow–that’s quite the dress. Too bad tp is so fragile!

  • Yeah, makes you wonder how they get in and out of it without tearing the dress. Wild.

  • Uh… that was Cindy the mom. This is Cindy the daughter.

We had a TP wedding dress contest at my first bridal shower - hm, I wonder why nobody’s design turned out that well????

  • Probably because you didn’t slave over it for hours. Perhaps next time you should lock your guests’ in the bathroom until they’re sufficiently motivated?

And how are we supposed to know who’s who if you guys sign in with the same name? Although the thought of a mother daughter identical duo spinning ’round the net leaving comments in one another’s wake is kind of intriguing.

  • There - that better?

And don’t blame ME, blame HER. ;) I would just like to point out that I was the first to blog, and the first to comment on pretty much every blog she comments on. (and yet I end up being the one to change my name!) We had the same problem for a bit over on Segullah.

  • Hmm, sounds like you’re fighting the fact that she was the first BORN! Kinda hard to get around that one. ;)

Next time around I’m naming you Beulah! So there! ;)

  • Next time? Cindy Baldwin, I’d watch out. It sounds like you’re about to be reincarnated!
