I promised a pic of Penelope, and here she is.
No, not the girl. The cannon half-buried in the sidewalk. She was dubbed Penelope and lived an exciting life as a kind of town mascot before dying mid-blast. She was given a full funeral and buried here, in the sidewalk outside an old news office. May the poor dear rest in peace.
