I shipped out Shard’s of Honor this afternoon. It probably won’t be postmarked ’til the 31st, due to our PO’s pickup times, but it’s out of my hands and off my mind. Can you tell I’m not thinking about it? 
It’s almost certainly my best entry yet, and also the one I’ve put the most drafts and re-writes into, so I think I’ll make sure I’m very busy come March, to keep myself from hoping too hard. Which shouldn’t be difficult. My New Year’s commitments are on a crash course with the my class commitments and regardless of who comes out on top, there’s sure to be fur flying.

Yeah, I did once, but that’s been a few years ago. It’s one of those things I know I should do but then I don’t get around to it. I keep most of the stories I’ve written that are of any quality in circulation to the publishers, so I rarely have one to spare to send. I’ll try again soon.
