Posing as a Writer
Last night was my first ‘writer’ appearance. It was a career fair for the youth group at our church, so not the most critical of audiences. Still, I had to tackle a small case of nerves and come out of the shadows were I usually hide my writing aspirations. I can see it takes a special kind of courage to stand up and admit to the insanity of writing for a living, so I’m grateful for last night’s practice.
