Tales from the Raven

I’ve been enjoying Miss Snark’s site for some time, so I was appreciative of this ‘lessons learned’ list posted by one of her snarklings.  I’ve taken the liberty of adding a few of my own.

• Agents are human, too.  Be cool.
• Don’t grovel.  It waves a red flag before the horned stilettos.
• Resist the urge to stalk your fav editor–the publicity isn’t worth it.
• Stop wasting your time.  Write.
• A hook is much more than a shepherd’s staff.  Never use the latter around Miss Snark unless George is caught in the crook.

I could go on about the enlightened world of George, gin and the Killer Yap, but it’s time to take the advice of Her Snarkliness and get back to writing.
