Movie Outing Take Two
Friday night we tried to get out. Might’ve worked, too, but someone slipped word to the world so it went and hid. Tomorrow we’re going to try again, so mum’s the word. We’re going to see one of the big exotic films of the season–
The Frog and the Princess.
What were you thinking? Surely not a really cool action show on an epic scale with reportedly stunning graphics?

Yeah, we saw it. And, it was…okay. The individual pieces were all good–lots of funny bits, excellent characterization, a plot arc that could put many a published novel to shame, and the kind of themes that every mother wants her to daughter to heed–but the sum of the parts was less than their potential.
Not sure why that was. Maybe if I did, I’d be making millions turning nearly-there novels into steller sellers.
